Does Invisalign hurt?

You'll feel mild pressure for a day or two each time you switch to a new set of aligners, which is a sign they're working. Most people describe it as tightness rather than pain.

How long does Invisalign treatment take?

Mild cases can finish in 4–6 months, while most full treatments take 12–18 months. Dr Abhay gives you a clear timeline at your assessment.

Can I eat normally with aligners?

Yes. You remove your aligners before every meal, brush, and put them back. There's no list of banned foods.

Is Invisalign suitable for children?

Invisalign® First is designed for children around 6 to 10 years old, and Invisalign® for teens suits older children once their permanent teeth are coming in.

Can I get Invisalign if I'm over 40?

Yes. Healthy teeth can be moved at any age, and many of our patients are working professionals in their 30s, 40s and 50s.

Are clear aligners the same as invisible braces?

Yes. “Invisible braces” is the everyday name for clear aligners. Invisalign® is the most established clear aligner system, with SmartTrack® material and ClinCheck® digital planning.
